Bengoshi Titles
As you may have noticed, we all have a title depending of our function among the Jourei Bengoshi. Just to say, Inu and me have got our title traded, I'm the right hand, he is the left hand.

Actually no. The Right Hand is definitely Asahina Inu as he is the guy who goes by the book without trying to make interpretations; for good or ill. He has been my main source of what the book really says and thus serves as my main rules fact checker. I had you as the Left Hand because of your archiving and world knowledge had made you my main source of obscure rules and mechanics from previous material. Togashi Shijutsu was made the Underhand because he started the whole “argue by omission of text” thing that has gotten me very frustrated many time. He has shown a skill in finding lack of rules to support his points usually for very grave consequences. Cooper is the Voice, because unlike the rest of us, I believe he has good standing with the rest of the posters and rarely displays the overzealousness the rest of us can when running wild with rulings and interpretations. Cooper also has demonstrated the ability to find official rulings. Kakita Seigi is the Scribe because of his work on the upcoming FAQ as well as this forum. I am considering adding Muchitsujo to the group as Explorer as he has demonstrated the annoying ability to find gaping holes in the rules that usually leads to us having to completely ignore the rules out of self preservation. I consider Malempo a member as well, despite his lack of recent presence.

Malempo is finishing an high degree in China (he is canadian, and moved here for his schooling). Guess I will go with the left hand so... left hand of a Crane *chuckles*

I was wondering how I came about mine... The question that this raises is- Are the L5R rules modelled on the Napoleonic Code, or Common Law? So far it looks to be all common law. My opinion is that it would work better having some parts of the rules defined as napoleonic code (such as basic combat mechanics), and the other parts as common law.

Oh that made me giggle so!! Welcome to my bosses world, I'm always inflicting this pain on her!! (Hey boss guess which policy we havent been using!!!) If theres something I pride myself on, its annoying other people by finding problems they didnt realise existed :D
