Final Strike?

Final Strike?
Not sure how this is useful. It says you have to spend 3 void to make a final strike on your next turn after being reduced to down or out and it has a +30TN penalty. What is the advantage to this? Can't you already attack at the down wound level by spending a void to ignore wound penalties and another void to gain an action? So is it only useful when reduced to out or am I missing something?

It seems pretty redundant to me looking at it. At the down Wound level you can spend a Void to take an action and another Void to ignore the +40 wound penalties to that action. That's cheaper than 3 Void to take an action at +70. So yeah it seems like it is only useful if you are knocked to Out or dead from the strike. Then the 3 Void(Or 5 in the case of death.) allows you take an action at no penalty.

I meant "at no Wound Penalty" as Out and Dead contain no numerical Wound penalty. You still take the +30 penalty for Final Strike itself. Basically I was just trying to say that using Final Strike at the Down level was harder than it is at Out and Dead, as you have a natural WP of +40 at Down and Out and Dead don't have any numerical WP to apply to your roll. So that Final strike is useless at Down because it is easier to simply spend a void to take action and spend another to ignore WP, than it is to use Final Strike. Final Strike costs you an additional Void and an additional +30 to your roll. Even if it wasn't mechanically worse doing so, Final Strike at Down would still be mechanically worse than a Final Strike at Out.
