Rules Update Project Begins!
I need your help. Doing the Rules Update Project is a lot of work then I can do alone. I need some people to do as I have do with the skills and make forum post for every school, spell, kiho ect from all the Third Ed books. I would like to have each section remain clean so I want to assigned people to handling each sub forum. What I need first is the following to be indexed: Schools (including Paths and Advanced Schools as I am not going to distinguish as a School is a School). Kata Spells Kiho Shadowlands Powers Items Dojo Vassal Families Any volunteers want to start indexing a particular category? I want everything, from the Main Rules, TFW, CoR, AotD, EE, MoW and the SUP and even the Imperial Herald Schools. I will also need someone to hyperlink relevant text I make to other areas. Id also instead like to make this wiki but I have no skill is making one. Ideas?

The Imperial heralds schools have been copied here. They include a kiho.

I'll volunteer for Dojo and Vassal Families. If there is still more to be done after those are finished, I may be able to do another. Also, I think it would be good if some of the sections got subforums. In particular, I think that Spells and Kiho should be divided by element, and that Schools and Kata should be divided by Clan. For Vassal Families and Dojo, there are few enough (so far) that separate sections are not necessary (at least, not yet).

I have the info typed up for the Dojo and Vassal Families, but I need authorization to create threads in the Superior Courthouse. As soon as someone can do that for me, I'll start listing them and copy the thread addresses to make the link announcement.

If this way is what you want then great. However, this weekend, I did gather all of the rogue post by the RPG team outside of the stickied threads. If you don't want them (they aren't formatted or have hyperlinks), then just sign me two sections that you want me to collect. :D

One giant thread for each author. If you want you can jsut make new threads there and I'll clean up / delete the old ones.

Crab Schools are done, including the Path from Prayers and Treasures. I've already started working on Ronin and Imperial Schools. Due to the way the minor clan, imperial, nonhuman, monk, and unaligned mechanics are generally mixed together (and spread around weird places in the books), I'm going to tackle all of the schools that are not from Great Clans at the same time, including Spider / Shadowlands.

A school may be printed in the Musha Shugyo.

Schools are completely done (until Masters of Court comes out), and I'll be working on kata next. :s1 In the meantime, I've already compiled where every advantage, disadvantage, skill, item, spell, and kiho appears outside of the core book. If anyone wants to make the threads, I'll PM you the list for that category so you only have to go through one book to get page numbers. (I just used View more Emoticons for the first time today. I love the Final Fantasy Tactics samurai!) :s1

Now that everything except Items has the threads done, I've started incorporating errata into the posts. I've finished the first five pages of the Rules Questions thread on the AEG forum already, and once I've finished going through the whole thread I'll finally go back and make threads for the items. When I do, should I just do the mundane weapons and items, or should all the nemuranai go in the same section? Finally, does anyone think we need a section for NPC's and / or creatures? I've already got some errata compiled for them, but I'm not sure they're important enough to warrant giving their own subforum. Just a single thread in the Book of Fire forum that has a complete list of NPC's and relevant changes would probably suffice.
