I guess that additional attacks should be allowed in a duel as well since they have the same stipulation "you may make an additional attack per round." Unless otherwise specified(as the Ronin duelist specifies that they are rounds spent focusing in a duel) we need to assume that whenever the word round is mentioned it refers to "The Combat Round."
I don't have my book with me to check, but I'm fairly sure the Iaijutsu dueling rules say you get to make an attack roll, not your total allotment of attacks. Since the dueling rules are more specific than the general combat rules, they override those general rules whenever they don't coincide.

Then you can’t spend a void to reduce damage in a duel. I’m pretty sure you can.
How dueling “rounds” works will be clarified when I do the FAQ.
Technically the Shinobi's Rank 4 tech does not work in a duel either, because since it is not a skirmish there are no rounds and the technique can only be used "Once per round"
Ronin Duelist rank 2, Taking the Measure: "Every round spent focusing in a duel..."
They're not combat rounds, but there are rounds in a duel. I really wish the RAW would specifically differentiate between the two though. The Ronin Duelist tech obviously should be usable in a duel, the Shinobi tech IMO shouldn't be.I guess that additional attacks should be allowed in a duel as well since they have the same stipulation "you may make an additional attack per round." Extra Attacks come from having extra Attack Actions. You do not have Actions in duels.
You used to however be able to raise for an extra attack in duels, until Shawn errataed it and made it so you cannot make raises for maneuvers. You can still raise for damage however.
