Oh and BTW I would accept any tempation for my clan. We have seen how the Story Team treat the imperial line. Having one of your own on the throne will probably not help your clan that much and his line should be dead in about two years. So, I think it's better to accept a huge storyline prize now than hope the Story Team will treat you emperor line with any dignity our durability.

Everybody knows them, they have been posted. The Mantis have to save the fox for their destruction. If they say no, the fox will be either destroyed or join another clan. The Crab will found the lost ancestral hiruma school and get a new serie of shout.

That's the gist at any rate. Shawn has indicated that the Fox will not actually be destroyed if the Mantis say no, but they will be crippled. Also, if the Mantis say no one of the other Great Clans still might get a chance to 'adopt' the Fox. And I'm sure there's some minutae about the Crab Temptation as well, but they did a good job of clamping down on any leaks of the original text.

Damn, those are awfully cool story prizes. I would grab them.

As to the Crab one, this is the first time I have actually heard what their Temptation was. They have done a slightly better job at keeping it a secret. I knew it had something to do with the Hiruma, but wasn't sure about the specifics. I hope they do a decent job at updating the School if they ever put it officially into a book, because that school was freaken screwy, if I remember correctly.

All I know is, I voted no on the Crab temptation. I wonder if the rest of the Crab take it, if I can get anything for the shiny cards? I'm not really able to order them myself :-p

You just didn't looked well enough for the Crab temptation. Many peoples told what it was on the AEG forums. The difference is that no one outside of the Crab care about the Crab temptation, so everybody talk about the Mantis one and how they can use it to makes either the Mantis suffer, or to get the Fox if the Mantis say no ...

Yeah. The Crab one affects the Crab alone, which is one reason we tried to keep it secret. I'm not jealous of the Mantis situation though, cause all that fervor over it doesn't make things easy for you guys.

*noddy* But there was an attempt at keeping it one. And the number of people on the forums who thought it was getting the Hiruma lands back made me chuckle.

Yeah, I can see that the Mantis prize is a poisonned gift but let's face it if it was any other minor clan, the prize wouldn't be that much interesting (except maybe the tortoise since they will never give the bat to their favorite minor clan, the Monkey). On the other hand, the Crab temptation appeals mostly to the RPG players because (I am not sure but I think) that the Hiruma Lost school doesn't have that much of appeal on CCG players. Hell, it might not even mean anything to recent players.

We Mantis shared it only on the minor clans forum, then they spread it because they was mad about it. I don't think it will end good.

Well it spread to the Kudo board because a couple of Mantis players came over and asked what we thought. I don't know how it spread to the other boards.
