Me neither, I blame the CCG and Heroes of Rokugan. Heroes of Rokugan because I suppose that being in that activity gave you a lot of points on the selection. The CCG because in the explanatory letter they say that they had to balance the players between CCG and RPG. Come on, a guy can know a lot about how to make super combos with cards but never have played in the RPG. Well, more time for the Jourei Bengoshi. I am actually writing all the Homebrew mods I use for 3rd. I will post them on the Homebrew forum of L5R when finished. I know it's outside the Jourei Bengoshi mandate (hence why I will post it on the AEG forums) but you might still find it interesting especially Cooper who did something similar in the past.

Yes, CCG is quite a pain. Myself I have a bad feeling about the 32 peoples who get invited directly : many of them are webmasters and friends of the story team and then had already way too much power over the storyline.

Yes, this winter court was the ticket for the role-player to shine. Those 32 invits are probably playing all the most important characters so in the end the story mostly remains in the hands of the same people who destroyed the Toturi Dynasty for profits. I don't blame AEG for searching for profits but I blame AEG for doing it at the expense of their story.

Actually the number of folks in heroes who didn't make the list (like myself) is quite signifigant. CCG seemed to have the biggest influence at first glance.

Big up okuma for the imperial legions stuff. But it looks more like norachai is trying on a faux Hitojichi on the clans. Making the 2000 samurai as hostages to ensure co-operation, rather than any real defence. If I were the empress I'd be pissed at him, but she may be complicit. She is too weak to call a proper Hitojichi, the Khan would just laugh at her and "visit" the capital with ALL of his family...

But where am I in that story? ;) Surely the Onisu of Chaos has a place somewhere.... referencing me doesnt quite have the same effect I think? :P
